|shore dives in Sogwipo|

At the moment all our diving is limited to shore dives because there is a problem with the licenses of dive boats in Sogwipo. The Korean coast guard says that the permit of those boats which divers have been using for the last 40 years does not cover diving. As a consequence all diving operations involving boats are shut down at the moment. This is true for all dive shops. We are working on a solution but please understand that I do not know when this situation will change.
Most of our shore dives are from Sogwipo harbor eastern breakwater which is a good dive site with an easy access to the water and much interesting marine life. Typically you can see octopus, flounder, horse makrel, amberjack, red seabream, butterflyfish, bluestriped angelfish, nudibranch ... Visibility has been at 15meters during this last week.
