|Dive No. 999/1000 - Munsom Bay - Sunday November 23rd - Air 20C - Water 22C - sunny - Visibility 7-10 meter
I had 2 nice dives with Kana from Osaka and my old buddy Hwang, Yun-Tae. We saw a group of 10-12 Cornet fish standing in the current just a meter above the bottom feeding on whatever meal is drifting by. The largest of them may have been 0.8-1 meter long and 7 cm in diameter. I usually see 1 or 2 of them but a bigger group of this size is a rare sighting.
These days there are small baby cleaner shrimps all over Munsom. If they all grow up we will get a huge number of cleaning stations some time soon.
The diving conditions are very good with 22C/72F water temperature, calm seas and mostly sunny weather. Divers will have to wait until July next year to find water warm like this in Jeju but not many have visited BIG BLUE 33 and dove with me in November. Why?
I took the picture of the soft coral and the schooling Damselfish today on my 1000th dive in -28m.
