|Dive No. 978/979 - Munsom Bay - October 19th 2003 - Water 23 C - Air 25 C - Visibility 5-6 m
It has been a while since I last left a note in my logbook. We were really busy in August and September serving all those divers who visited BIG BLUE 33 from all over the world. Thank you all for coming and diving with us. Please keep Jeju in good memory and come again whenever you can make it.
On Sunday I had 2 good dives with Harald from Germany who is visiting Jeju for 10 days. We went to Munsom Bay and did the first dive eastward and the second to the west side of Munsom`s wall. The current was very slow and most of the soft coral were not feeding. I was lucky to take the picture of a featherstar that showed itself wide open to my camera`s lens. Featherstars place themselves on rock or coral that is exposed to the current and feed on the plankton drifting by. With all their different colors they are some of the most beautiful creatures in the reef.
I took this picture with an Olympus C4000 in an Olympus PT010 housing with the inbuilt camera flash.
